Upcoming Events
The annual Snake Chase 5K Run/Walk event will
not be held this spring. due to unforseen circumstances. We will be doing a direct mail campaign
to raise funds for our student scholarship and teacher fellowship funds. Contributions can be sent c/o of NJCF,
6300 N.Indiana, gladstone, Mo. 64119.
The NJC Foundation participated in the North Kansas City's Snake
Saturday Festival's Charity Cook Off and parade on March 11th and 12th, 2011.
 The Charity Cook Off is an event where local 501c3 groups can compete in the preparation and presentation of a KC Strip
steak. There were some 25 agencies participating in this year's event.
The NJCF took 10 place.

The parade theme this year was "Irish Rock". Our float consisted of
a large rock, created from styrofoam, mounted on a trailer. We featured some of our Board members children
and grandchildern playing Irish rock music selected by our committee. We took 7th Place for our entry.
